Compose Multiplatform

Declarative Kotlin UI framework from JetBrains for sharing UI code across Android, iOS, desktop and web, built on Jetpack Compose.

Overview

Compose Multiplatform brings Jetpack Compose, Android's declarative UI toolkit, to other platforms. Using Kotlin Multiplatform, you write UI once with composable functions and run it on Android, iOS, desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and the web, while still being able to drop down to native platform APIs where needed.

Because it builds on the same Compose APIs Android developers already know, existing Android teams can extend an app to iOS and desktop with little new learning. Developed by JetBrains alongside Kotlin itself, it is a fit for teams that already work in Kotlin and want a shared UI layer instead of separate Swift and Android codebases.
