Open-source search database for full-text, vector and hybrid search with real-time indexing, queried with SQL or a JSON HTTP API.

Overview
Manticore Search is a search engine written in C++ that grew out of the Sphinx search project. It speaks the MySQL protocol, so you can create tables, insert documents and run full-text queries with plain SQL, and also offers an HTTP JSON API that is largely compatible with Elasticsearch-style requests.
It supports real-time indexes, faceting, fuzzy matching, KNN vector search and hybrid full-text plus vector ranking, and can replicate across nodes. It is known for low resource use and fast queries on large datasets. A fit for teams that want Elasticsearch-class search with a smaller footprint, or that prefer querying their search index with SQL.
